How to convert a PDF table to Excel
Upload the PDF, optionally enter the pages that hold your table, and press convert. You receive an .xlsx file with the detected rows and columns, ready to edit, sort and use in formulas.
PDFs exported from accounting or spreadsheet software convert most accurately. Bank statements, invoices and reports usually work well.
Getting clean results from PDF to Excel
PDFs generated from web pages or scanned documents may not have real table structure, so the extraction is based on spacing and column detection. Reviewing and adjusting a few cells after conversion is normal for these files.
Use the page range option on long reports or statements to skip cover pages, summaries or unrelated pages and pull out only the data table you need.
PDF to Excel or PDF to Word?
Choose Excel when your PDF is mostly tables and numbers. Choose PDF to Word when it is mostly text and you want to edit paragraphs.

Can scanned PDF tables be converted?

Can I convert only specific pages?
Yes. Enter a page range such as 1-3, 5 or 8-z (z means the last page) to extract tables only from those pages instead of the full document.
What format do I receive?
The output is an XLSX spreadsheet with one sheet per detected table, so each table can be reviewed and edited separately.
Why did I get one sheet with plain rows instead of a formatted table?
If the PDF does not have clear table borders or grid lines, the tool falls back to extracting the text in column-like groups so the data is still usable in a spreadsheet.
