Why send a deck as PDF
It opens on any device without PowerPoint, including phones and browsers, so nobody is blocked from viewing it.
It cannot reflow. A deck opened on a machine without your fonts can shift text and break layouts - a PDF looks identical everywhere.
It prints predictably, which matters for handouts, and it discourages casual editing of your slides.
