关于此 HTML 转 PDF 工具

HTML to PDF renders your document with a real Chromium browser engine, which is what separates a usable result from a broken one: modern CSS - flexbox, grid, custom properties, gradients, shadows, web-safe fonts and print rules - is laid out the same way a browser shows it, rather than approximated by an old converter. You can either produce a normal paginated document by choosing a paper size such as A4 or Letter, with orientation and margins, or choose "Fit to content" to get a single continuous page sized exactly to the rendered content, at the width you select. That second mode is the one to use when a document should not be sliced into paper-sized pieces - a long invoice, a dashboard export, an email template or a report where a page break in the middle of a table would ruin it. Background colours and images are kept by default, so gradients and coloured panels survive the conversion instead of printing white.

实用提示

Paper size or fit to content - which to choose

Choose a paper size (A4, Letter and so on) when the document is meant to be printed or filed: invoices, letters, reports and anything that will be read on paper or archived alongside other documents.

Choose "Fit to content" when the document is meant to be read on a screen and should not be cut into pages: a long receipt, a dashboard or chart export, an email template, or a landing page you want to keep as one continuous image-like page.

The width setting only applies to fit mode. It controls how wide the page is laid out - 1280px approximates a desktop browser window, 595px matches A4 width in CSS pixels.

Getting the most faithful result

Use a self-contained file. Because rendering is offline for security, CSS and images should be inline, embedded in a <style> block, or encoded as data URIs - external links will not be downloaded.

If you need exact print control, add your own @page and print rules to the HTML; the renderer honours them, and choosing "None" for margins hands full control to your stylesheet.

Keep the background option on if your design uses coloured panels or gradients, otherwise a browser-style print would drop them.

常见问题

Will my CSS look the same as in the browser?

Yes for anything the browser renders: flexbox, grid, custom properties, gradients, shadows, rounded corners and print stylesheets are all supported, because the file is rendered by a real Chromium engine rather than a simplified converter.

What does “Fit to content” do?

It produces a single continuous page whose height is measured from your actual rendered content, so there are no page breaks and no blank space at the end. Pick the width you want the page laid out at - 1280px for a desktop-width capture, for example.

Can I choose the paper size?

Yes - A4, Letter, Legal, A3, A5 or Tabloid, in portrait or landscape, with a choice of margins. The document paginates normally across as many pages as it needs.

Do images and stylesheets from the internet load?

No. For security, rendering runs completely offline, so anything the file links to from an external server (CDN stylesheets, remote images, web fonts) is not fetched. Use a self-contained HTML file with inline or embedded CSS for a faithful result.

Are background colours and gradients kept?

Yes. Background graphics are printed by default, so coloured panels and gradients appear in the PDF instead of being dropped as they are in a normal browser print.

Does it render mobile or responsive layouts?

The document is rendered with the desktop layout and scaled to the page width you choose. Width-based media queries are not re-evaluated for narrow widths, so a mobile version of a responsive page cannot be produced this way.

Is the text selectable in the PDF?

Yes. Text is embedded as real text, not a picture, so the PDF stays searchable and you can copy from it.
